Fifteen residences on the High Line designed by Cary Tamarkin

508 West 24th Street is the newest building by acclaimed architect/developer Cary Tamarkin.
Adjacent to the High Line, this ten-story condominium is contextually appropriate, designed in the spirit of West Chelsea’s industrial-era warehouses, many of which have been transformed into art galleries and loft housing.
Signature over-sized casement windows alternate with bands of carefully composed architectural concrete, creating a powerful, authentic and confident aesthetic.
The exterior clock faces the highline and originated from the architect’s desire for the building to become an active neighborhood participant and give back to the City in a useful and memorable way.
Looking back to look forward, the classic modern design transcends the fashion of the day—508 West 24th will undoubtedly withstand the test of time.

Accessed via private elevator, each residence features 10’ ceilings, an expansive living/dining space, solid rift and quartered white oak floors, and a beautifully appointed, custom walnut and Calacatta Gold marble kitchen.
Continuous ribbons of multi-paned windows provide multiple exposures and flood each room with natural light.
Master bedroom suites include luxurious spa baths and private dressing rooms; secondary bedrooms have en suite baths.
Of the fifteen residences ranging in size from 2,000 to over 3,300 square feet, more than half offer private outdoor space.

508 West 24th Street is situated in West Chelsea, one of the most vibrant residential neighborhoods in New York City, at the epicenter of the Chelsea gallery scene, overlooking the Hudson River to the west, the green expanse of the exciting High Line Park at its doorstep, and the countless lively restaurants and boutiques of the Meat Packing District to the south.

THE HIGH LINE is a public park built on an historic freight rail line elevated above the streets on Manhattan’s West Side.
Founded in 1999 by community residents, Friends of the High Line fought for the High Line’s preservation and transformation at a time when the historic structure was under the threat of demolition.
It is now the non-profit conservancy working with the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation to make sure the High Line is maintained as an extraordinary public space for all visitors to enjoy.
